Art Class

For the past couple of weeks Madysenn has been going to art class. She LOVES the class. She brought this home the other day. It is crazy how much she has learned to do in such a short amount of time. :-) 

Creature of Habit

So I am a creature of habit, big time. When I find something I like I tend to buy it in every color or multiple of the same thing. My pantry is full of the same food all the time because I have this fear that I will not find something when I need it or the store will stop making it. Because god forbid I try something different. :-) So last summer Target (the best store ever) had these tank tops that fit me so perfect that I bought one in almost every color. I also bought about 5 white ones because I wear one under everything.  And I wanted to make sure if they stopped making them I would have plenty. :-) So last week I was at my favorite store and low and behold they had the same tanks as last year! Score!!! So i loaded up again. Mostly on white. Now today I start looking through my clothes and out of the 10 or so white tanks I have bought in the past year I can find 2............. This is why I buy multiple of things.  :-)

Mother Daughter Campout

 On Friday Madysenn and I headed out of town with her girl scout troop to camp Flemming. This was the second time I had been. I went when I was 6 or 7 with my mom and girl scout troop.  We ended up having a really good time. We did all kinds of crafts, did makeovers, and ate LOTS of junk food. :-) When we came home Saturday Mady slept almost the whole car ride then slept from 3 to about 5:30. She was beat!

Oh Madysenn!

At MOPs we have "MOPs moments" and I thought of sharing this with the group, but if I did I would probably die from embarrassment. :-) I am sure some MOPs moms will read this. 

After school today I was driving Mady to art class and and we pulled up next to a big motorcycle. Since she likes to read EVERYTHING she read the license plate frame........... From her mouth "My other toy has T*ts.............. Mom, What are t*ts?" Ummmmmmmm I have no idea. 

I had no idea how to answer that question. But I didn't want to make a big deal about it. I was laughing a little on the inside. :-) 

7 Years

This past weekend Jourdan and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary. Today is our actual anniversary. :-) For the first time since we have been married we went away with no kids or baby in my belly! We had such a great time in Bodega Bay. The weather was perfect! Everything was beautiful. This is our hotel.

The kids had a great time staying with my grandparents and my cousins. Ewan gave me the cold shoulder for about an hour after we got him. He would not come to me, smile at me, or even look at me. I was hoping for this run into my arms greeting and instead I got a run the other way crying! He did get over it. :-) 

  * On another note..... It is NOT my fault for the lack of posting. My wireless internet went down and my I.T. guy took his sweet time fixing it. Thanks Jourd!
