Crashed

Sorry for the lack of posting. But my computer crashed! We (meaning Jourdan) have been working on the computer for the past couple of weeks. I now have a working computer but for the time being have lost ALL of my pictures from 2005 to present. Needless to say I have been freaking out! Jourdan promises that (for a price) they can be saved. So here is a tip unless you want to pay hundreds saving pictures BACK UP! So for now I have no pictures. But I will soon.

This is my friend Sheree's little girl she is having heart surgery next month and her and her family need our prayers. You can check out her blog in my blog list. The Phamily blog.

Big Mistake

So I messed up Ewan's hair big time! I have been cutting his hair since he was about 11 months old. I have always done it on a 4. Which is the longest I could do it. Today I sat him down to cut his hair. It was extra long since I have not cut it in about 2 months. I started on his right then went to the middle and well..... You can see what happened. The guard came off and I kept cutting. I screamed so loud Jourdan thought I was hurt he came running out and got mad when I wasn't. :-) I ended up scaring Ewan also. Bella came over and said he looking like papa. (my balding dad) I sat for a little bit wondering what to do. Jourdan said to just buzz it. I couldn't go that short so I did a #2 the rest of the way. You can still totally tell where the super short part is but I could not bring myself to do it all that short. SO lesson learned, either pay for a hair cut or be prepared for it to be messed up.

The end result he is still super cute! He now has "the Mucher do". Every boy on my side of the family has this hair cut. :-)
Ps. I am curious as to who reads this blog. I get very few comments but have been told people read it. So if you do, boost my ego and leave a comment. Even if it just "hi" or "don't cut your sons hair again".  :-)

Mothers Day

In honor of Mothers day I thought I would share this. I found this around this time of year last year. On the front it says My daughter is becoming just like me! Lucky girl! I had planed on getting rid of it (it wasn't my style) before I knew what was on the other side. I had completely forgotten that my mom had gotten it for Jourdan for his birthday. I know it seems like a weird gift for my husband but my mom's gifts sometimes were a little silly. Anyways on the back my mom had written a quick little note to Jourdan that I ABSOLUTELY love now! It says " Dear Jourdan, May you have many wonderful loving memories of laughter, humor, silliness, fun, and compassion with our fiesty, opinionated, excellent mother, wife and daughter Kirsten.
Much Love respect and compassion Cheri and JIm.
I can not even begin to explain how awesome  it is to have in writing something from my mom. I am so thankful for all of my memories with her. ANd also thankful that I am "becoming just like her".  OK now that I am crying I need to stop writing about my mom. :-)

I had a great mothers day with my kids. Madysenn was so excited to give me all 50 cards she had made. She even brought me breakfast in bed. Muffin tops with fruit. :-) We had an awesome  dinner at my dads house. And this is pretty shocking..... Got a picture with all 5 of us looking at the camera! Check out Ewan's cheese ball smile. :-) Happy (late) Mothers day!

Wordless Wednesdy

Yesterday this box was over flowing with straw berries. Today? Not one left! I should have started a strawberry farm!

10 inches

Madysenn made the big decision last week to cut her hair. I had gone to get her from school and she jumped in the car and said she was ready. Was I? No. As much as her hair was a pain I really loved it. Maybe because I desperately want long hair. :-) So on a whim we went in to get her hair cut. She was SO excited. I cried. It was a lot shorter then I thought it was going to be. She cut 10 inches and it wasn't to short but then she kept cutting it shorter. I really do like it now. She looks very spunky. These pictures are not the best but they are all I have so far. :-) We ended up donating her hair to locks of love. She has said for years that she wanted to give her hair to people that had none. I am very proud of her big decision. Bella now says when she is 6 she wants to do the same thing.
